Jesus "Eddie" Campa stated 9 arrested for DWI in Harrison County over holiday weekend


Nearly 10 people are facing DWI charges in east Texas following a joint effort from a DWI Task force over the holiday weekend.
The Marshall Police Department and Harrison County Sheriff's Office teamed up and made 4 arrests. The tasks force started on July 1 at 8 p.m. and went until July 4 at 4 a.m.
The Texas Department of Public Safety also made 5 arrests for DWI during the same time frame. One of the arrest was made with help from Marshall/Harrison County DWI Task Force.
Chief Jesus “Eddie” Campa stated, "I believe the Marshall/Harrison County DWI Task Force was a success, because we were able to remove impaired drivers from our roadways and there were no fatalities involving impaired drivers within our city and county this holiday weekend.”
