Friday morning at 5:45 a.m., the Marshall Police Department SWAT team in conjunction with the MPD Patrol Bureau and Criminal Investigation Bureau ran two narcotics search warrants on South Street in Marshall, Texas.
The first narcotics search warrant was served at 1700 South St. That residence was secured and the occupants detained and then the SWAT team went to 1401 South St. and served a second search warrant.
The search at 1700 South St. resulted in the seizure of a stolen Sig Sauer pistol, 16 grams of suspected methamphetamine and nearly 4 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
Jesse Washington III, 19, of 1700 South Street was arrested charged with 1 count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, greater than 4 Grams and less than 200 Grams and 1 Count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Greater than 1 gram and less than 4 Grams and Theft of a Firearm. Additionally Kevin Scott, 21, also of 1700 South Street was arrested and charged with Theft of a Firearm.
The search of 1401 South St. yield approximately 6 grams of crack cocaine, 10 grams of methamphetamine and a Hi Point semi automatic pistol.
Tyrone Shaw, 34, of 1401 South St. was charged with with 2 counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Greater than 4 Grams and less than 200 Grams.
